So after many weeks of being let down with the wrong or bad treatment from my local dentist. I spent weeks contacting different dentists. I went to Re-Ignite Dental after seeing so much positive stuff on line. After 5 minutes with Dr Imran on my initial consultation I knew I was in the right place. What is composite bonding?
Composite bonding is when a resin is applied to your teeth and shaped to your liking. This can be done on the edges or cover the full surface of your teeth
Is it painful?
Almost all cases are done without numbing you up as it is not a painful procedure which does not require adjustment to your natural teeth if they are straight.
Can I still get it with crooked teeth?
If your teeth are crooked, we would normally advise you to straighten them first. If your teeth are almost straight, we can sometimes do very minor adjustments to allow you to go straight to composite bonding (link to smile assessment).
How long does it last?
Composite lasts as long as you look after it and we would advice 6 monthly checks and cleans with us to ‘service’ your bonding. This ensures it lasts for the average period of between 5-7 years.
