Hi, I'm Mia. I'm a qualified Dental Nurse originally from Dublin and currently the Assistant Manager here at Re-Ignite Dental in Hale. I love welcoming patients into the practice, helping them feel relaxed and looked after, and supporting them throughout their journey with us. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing the confidence that comes with a smile transformation.

2. What do you love most about dentistry/patient care?

I love being part of a patient’s journey and watching them grow physically and internally throughout their treatment, from start to finish. You really get to understand how much someone’s mouth can impact them as a person, and it is rewarding to be a part of the process in rebuilding their confidence again.

I think it is very important that patient care is always carried out in an honest and genuine manner with clear communication. It is important to build that trust and respect between yourself and the patient by paying attention to detail, and always remaining transparent.

The team at re-ignite are all extremely knowledgeable within their roles and also very supportive and caring. The whole team and practice itself has a very positive demeanour about it. I believe that a happy team creates a happy working environment, and this is absolutely fundamental in order for a business to thrive in success. 

5. A little about you outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m quite social and love meeting new people and building connections. I love going out on weekends, whether it’s dinners, events, or just spending time with friends. I also have a passion for skin and facials, which I do as a side hustle, so I’m always learning more about aesthetics and self-care.
